There has been some movement in the team recently though after someone being promoted, which has left behind an opportunity for you to join the team as a Quality Engineer.

You'll focus on the operational aspects of the quality function to start with. That'll mean leading and managing the PPAP documentation and producing FAIRs to validate product conformity with engineering drawings and customer requirements. Clearly that'll mean you're likely to be the "boots on the ground" for the team, whilst others focus on the "systems" heavy side of things.

The company's based in Altham and is a Tier 2 supplier to the aerospace and defence industries. Salary wise, you're probably looking at something around £40k - £45k, which will grow as your time and contribution to the business does.
