BMS Project and Service Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled BMS Project and Service Engineer to join a growing team that is passionate about delivering excellence in the field of Building Management Systems. As a BMS Project and Service Engineer, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering and commissioning work. Your role will be based in London, with a competitive salary ranging between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Delivery of engineering and commissioning work for systems such as Trend, Tridium & Distech.
- Onsite panel modifications for small project works and service jobs.
- Daily communication with Project Managers to provide project updates.
- Building and maintaining client relationships, recognising new opportunities.
- Proactive management of client expectations and promotion of services and solutions.
- Identification and resolution of faults during liability and warranty periods.
System Builds/Commissioning
- Pre-commissioning, strategy writing/modification, supervisor graphics building/modification, and commissioning as per operational descriptions.
- Completion of commissioning sheets and undertaking client witnessing and handovers.
Team Collaboration and Development
- Training and mentoring apprentice engineers.
- Working alongside Technical Managers for advanced training.
Training & Personal Growth
- Continuous training on Trend, Distech, and Tridium products and updates.
Other Responsibilities & Duties
- Surveying client sites for project scoping and in-hour call-outs and breakdowns as required.
- Upkeep of internal and client-facing reports.
Skills and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in BMS project work.
- Full/clean driving license.
- Knowledge of Tier 1 systems, particularly Trend, with IT package experience.
- Certifications in Trend and/or Tridium are highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills and customer service abilities.
- Autonomous work capability as well as effective teamwork.
- Integrity and consistency in decision-making.
Working Pattern
- Primarily field-based role with typical shifts from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
