Looking for a proper mechanical fitting job where you’re not just a bolt-tightener?

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Reading and working from engineering drawings to assemble machinery

• Following SOPs and building to company quality standards

• Getting stuck in with general mechanical assembly, using the right tools for the job

• Preparing finished equipment for safe delivery

• Working as part of a team to hit deadlines without cutting corners

What’s in it for you:

• £16.00/hr to start, rising to £17.30/hr after 3-month probation

• 39 hours a week, with overtime available

• Tools provided and decent working conditions

You’ll need:

• Some hands-on mechanical fitting experience

• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings

• A fitting qualification (NVQ, apprenticeship or similar)

• Full UK driving licence

Bonus if you’ve done TIG work or built machinery before, but not essential.
