In this role you’ll spend the majority of your time in the office to work closely within the existing design team to produce electrical schematics.  Apart from that you'll create Bill of Materials from AutoCAD libraries, design control panels from scratch and work closely with the mechanical and controls teams to design and manufacture bespoke, special purpose machinery.

Lots of companies use "progression" as a way to entice people to apply for their jobs.  The most natural step I see for you here is to start looking at the PLC / Controls side of things but there's no reason it has to end there.  This group has a clear track record for helping people to advance their careers that they can demonstrate across all areas of the business. 

The salary will be roughly £40k to begin with, though I see that growing as time goes by.  Especially if you take advantage of the company's willingness to train and develop you.
