Are you looking to transition from never being in the office to getting back at the desk, not travelling as much?

Not only that, but do you fancy yourself as someone who could lead a team in the future? You’d have the option of going through leadership training to become the first piece of the puzzle as this business grows their electrical division.

Even though its mainly office based you’ll still have to travel to sites now and then, sometimes on short notice, but this would be pretty rare so for the majority of the year you will be able to get home to the family and into your own bed at night.

You’ll be dealing with multi-million-pound projects as business is busier than ever and their growth plans are really impressive for the next few years. They’ve already got a new, modern site with inbuilt offices, there’s a proper emphasis on the culture too, with a really family feel when you walk through the doors and see the team interacting with each other, they’re often attending socials together.

Now for the job itself, you’ll oversee system design and specification at sales, you’ll oversee panel design and manufacture ensuring all standards are met and on time, plus oversee the PLC/HMI systems software development and commissioning ensuring quality. Basically, you’ll oversee the full project life cycle.

So, if you have a good level of electrical and PLC knowledge and you’re able to liaise with different departments internally and externally, there’s a good chance that you’ll be a good fit for this.

To begin with you can expect the salary to fall in the region of £45k.
