Job Description
How often do you see a Quality Manager job that asks for years of experience managing huge teams with heaps of functional experience?
Most of us learn the functional side of things first and then head into people management and this company recognises that.
You would initially start out as a 1-man band in charge of function and a few reasons it might not be for you are:
. They don’t have ISO accreditation yet.
. It’s not a particularly technical product.
. Buy in from the boss but they don’t fully understand Quality, so a bit of thought leadership will be needed.
You’ll probably want to start off pretty hands on with the shop floor, sinking your teeth into embedding systems to build towards ISO accreditation.
On the flip side this is a blank canvas and you’ll be given free rein to take ownership of the role, building a team and there’s potential to grown into leadership.
You’ll be responsible for 2 sites, with a choice of where to be based. I imagine the salary will fall in the £40-£45k range.
If you’re a Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer feel free to send over a copy of your CV or give me call. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a CV ready, if you’re interested, we can still chat about the role!
